New Album Release

Path of Light is a flute-centered album created during the 2020 shutdown to highlight female composers who use storytelling as a central musical element. Originating from a collaboration with Gretchen Yanover, the project evolved into a curated collection focused on narrative, social reflection, and imaginative listening. Its centerpiece, Tasting the Night, inspired by Kara Rutledge Durant’s Jaro and Frog, explores empathy and shared humanity through contrasting perspectives. Overall, the album brings together story-driven works that immerse listeners in diverse musical narratives.
